PTSA Sponsored Events and Activities:
Annual Events:
Griffin's Got Talent - Normally held each fall
Spring Musical - Normally held in late April or early May
8th Grade Dance - Normally held towards the end of the year to provide our 8th graders with a fun sendoff to high school
Grade-Level Socials - Dances, movie nights, etc. that are usually held for a specific grade
Some of the other things our PTSA does for GMS students, teachers, and staff:
The School Store is open every morning for students to purchase drinks, snacks, spirit wear, or school supplies
Concession sales for the students at the Cool Cat Parties that are held during school hours
Back-to-school lunch for teachers/staff and other events during the year
School beautification projects (pine straw, flowers, etc.)
Sponsorship for after-school club supplies and club event registration fees
Sponsoring students for class trips
Supplies for classrooms or covering the cost of items for classroom events.
Gifts of appreciation for teachers, school staff, and bus drivers
Purchased water bottle filling stations to replace drinking fountains
